“Our laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and staffed by three board-certified pathologists” says Carmen Goco, Lab Director “We are also the only hospital laboratory in Volusia county that is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks.”
Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Laboratory provides a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests. The laboratory services include drug testing, blood transfusions, microbiology, hematology, histology, cytology, chemistry, special chemistry, urinalysis and serology.
“All services at the laboratory require a physicians order,” says Goco. “Please contact your physician to learn more.”
